To ensure your VELUX windows continue to perform at their best it is important to maintain your windows regularly. This will ensure that you reap the rewards for longer and save money on your energy bills.
Your VELUX windows carry a 10 year guarantee. To make sure that your guarantee remains valid and you can enjoy the benefits of this extended product guarantee regular maintenance is a must.

All maintenance plans include two visits per year by a VELUX certified engineer to your home to:

Visually inspect window (note any recommendation’s, defects and faults.)

Clean glass (inside and out)

Clean internal frame

Oiling hinges, and ensure closing mechanisms and fittings are lubricated to keep them in good working order.

Air filter maintenance or replacement.

Replace ventilation flap foam.

Clear debris from flashing surrounds to remove any leaves or debris and allow rainwater to drain freely from the roof and surrounding gutters.

Where applicable, remove any build-up of snow and ice for the same reason.
